Gwaelod, by its very nature as an archipelago, is a scattered and individualistic community. Caer Wyddno, Gwaelod Mawr, Maes Gwyddno, Dugadw, Cynfelyn - these are all separate and distinct parts of the Land of Dragons in which reside Dyndraig, Cawrdraig and Draig alike; but it is only in Cynfelyn that Glaun and other bull-dragons like him, other Tarwdraig, are found. Stubborn as mules, wild and unbroken, Glaun and his kind may be lesser draigs to some but what they lack in wit is more than made up for in sheer strength and ferocity, and it is to both Gwyddno Garanhir and Cadwaladr's credit that they - like Cynfelyn of old himself, whom the Romanii called Cunobelinus - have the will and the means to use the Tarwdraig against the enemies of the Cymry in battle.
